Badeen Display

Badeen Display is Hani Alasadi’s expressive Arabic headline design. Its official description places it around Arab pop culture and youth-oriented branding. The contrast between thick and thin strokes, rounded shapes and sharp edges gives it a much more insistent voice than a neutral text family.

Try a campaign name, a music-event heading or a short cover line that can carry that contrast. The package has one regular style, not a menu of light and bold designs. Let size and composition create hierarchy. For dense information or small legal text, introduce another family rather than expecting the same display shapes to perform every role.

Working with Badeen Display

Mock up a square music-event graphic with one headline and its date. Compare Lalezar for a more consistently heavy headline texture and Cairo for the supporting details. Badeen’s included Latin offers an initial bilingual pairing, but check the longest Latin name beside the Arabic before locking the artwork. Keep critical information legible when the graphic is reduced.

This package supplies one original static TTF at weight 400 in the ZIP; the web preview uses prepared WOFF2 subsets. Version: 1.000. The supplied font covers Arabic and Latin.

For another dense poster headline, compare Jomhuria’s Persian stencil-inspired design. Its heavy appearance is supplied at weight 400, just as Badeen’s regular label does not describe a neutral body-text weight.
