Fandogh is Amin Abedi’s decorative Persian display font, with Arabic letters also present in the supplied file. It is a candidate for a short cultural poster title, not an automatic choice for the poster’s practical information.
Give the headline room to work
The upstream project describes Fandogh as a fancy Persian font. Keep its role specific: a short event name, a cover line or a phrase that carries the design’s personality. Set the date, venue and explanatory copy in a separate text face so the decorative treatment does not have to solve every reading task.
The release contains a single regular weight, numbered 400. Evaluate the complete wording at the intended output size, especially where dots or close neighboring forms affect recognition. Check Arabic spelling and marks separately from Persian samples. The basic Arabic alphabet is present, but that does not establish comprehensive support for every Arabic-script language.
Files, weights and supported scripts
The ZIP contains 1 original TTF file, version 1.00, with the license. Available preview weights: 400. The supplied source covers Arabic, Persian. It has no complete Latin alphabet; choose a separate Latin family for mixed-language text.
Compare the intended use
Compare Lalezar for a denser headline and Cairo for a hierarchy built from several weights.
When the title experiment needs adjustable repeated elements, inspect Handjet’s grid and shape axes. The original file exposes those controls; its documented macOS rendering warning remains relevant even if the small preview appears convincing.
License and source
Personal and commercial use, embedding and redistribution are permitted under SIL Open Font License 1.1. Keep the included license and notices when distributing font files. Fandogh is a Reserved Font Name; check the license before naming a modified version. See the official Fandogh source.

Compare a short Persian title with Ulduz’s slanted, expressive drawing. Its supplied file has Arabic and Persian characters without a Latin alphabet, so bilingual labels need a separate companion.
