Am-Hal

Am-Hal is an experimental Arabic display font created collectively during a workshop led by Mohamed Gaber. Each participant drew a different letter, giving a short headline an intentionally mixed voice.

Try the exact phrase before committing

The Hurouf workshop at the Arab Digital Expression Foundation’s third youth camp asked participants to draw letters without predetermined stylistic limits. That origin makes Am-Hal a possible choice for a workshop poster or an experimental cultural project, rather than a neutral identity system.

The supplied font is incomplete: the Arabic alef with madda, آ (U+0622), is absent. Do not silently replace that character with an ordinary alef to make a title fit. Use a different typeface when the wording needs it. The file also lacks full Persian and Latin alphabets, and its single weight does not provide a text hierarchy.

The ZIP contains 1 original TTF file, version 1.000, with the license. Available preview weights: 400. The supplied source covers Arabic. It has no complete Latin alphabet; choose a separate Latin family for mixed-language text.
