Lemonada is an Arabic–Latin family by Mohamed Gaber and Eduardo Tunni. Its Arabic starts from Naskh and introduces Diwani influences, with open counters and rounded movement. The Latin grew from Tunni’s Lemon. Treat the Diwani reference as an influence, not as a claim that this is a traditional Diwani font.

Try it for a welcoming title, a short invitation or expressive packaging copy. Small design details become more visible in display sizes, while longer lines need a separate readability check. Use a sample with repeated letters and vowel marks to see whether its rhythm fits the project. The original weight axis begins at 300, giving lighter options as well as the stronger heading weights.

Working with Lemonada

Proof an invitation with a welcoming phrase at 600 and practical details at 300 or 400. Begin Latin pairing with Lemonada’s own letters. Compare Cairo when the information needs a more structured heading hierarchy, or Almarai when the details should recede. Keep the Diwani-influenced display treatment distinct from any claim of traditional calligraphic composition.

Files, styles and coverage

The original source is variable. The preview provides 5 static positions at weights 300, 400, 500, 600, 700. The ZIP keeps the original variable TTF files, including continuous weight selection in compatible applications. Version: 4.005. The supplied font covers Arabic, Latin, Persian and Urdu.

Explore invitations and other display fonts. Prepare a sample with the Arabic keyboard; our guide to choosing an Arabic font covers selection and proofing.

For a more explicitly hand-lettered poster title, compare Marhey’s contrasting strokes with Lemonada’s Naskh and Diwani influences. Both supplied ranges run from 300 to 700, allowing a comparison at matching numeric weights.

License and original files

The ZIP includes the original files and the exact SIL Open Font License 1.1. Personal and commercial use are permitted under its terms. Retain the license when redistributing, respect reserved names and do not sell the font alone. See the official source for this version.

Try Layla Diwani’s single Regular style if the brief calls for a more explicitly ornamental Diwani interpretation. Keep the same words and inspect joins and marks; it does not automate a custom calligraphic composition.
