Noqte for unvocalized Arabic pixel headings

Noqte is a Persian and Arabic pixel-style display font by Mehdi Sadeghi. It suits short, unvocalized game headings and retro graphics. This download provides the original 0.1.0-beta4 TTF, with one style named Regular whose recorded weight is 500.

Use the square rhythm for a short title

Start with a game name, an opening card, or a few interface words that carry the visual theme. Noqte’s block construction works best when the wording has enough room to remain recognizable. Keep longer instructions in a quieter typeface rather than giving every line the same pixel texture.

For short video titles and cards, inspect the exported frame at its final dimensions. Scaling and compression can soften the small blocks. This is a title choice, not a recommendation for continuous subtitles. Try the built-in Latin for a matching English heading, and a plain companion such as Inter for supporting copy.

A beta with a firm vocalization limit

The file contains basic Arabic and Persian letters, Latin, and Western, Arabic, and Persian digits. Its Arabic joining forms work in the tested browser samples. However, it is unsuitable for vocalized text: combining vowel marks add unwanted width and disturb letter spacing. Their presence in the character set does not make them usable for a fully marked passage.

Use the Arabic keyboard for an unmarked title and check the final wording. Beta4 adds Arabic joining lookups; the official release notes describe that change. The project remains a beta intended here for short, unmarked display wording.

Compare the actual supplied styles
